What Is the Machu Picchu Adventure Tour?
The Machu Picchu Adventure Tour is a 2-day experience designed for travelers who want to combine Machu Picchu with an active experience instead of following a traditional sightseeing-only itinerary. Depending on your preference, you can combine your trip with ATV quad biking, horseback riding, paragliding, mountain biking, or Rainbow Mountain. Most importantly, you do not need to hike the Inca Trail for several days to reach Machu Picchu. Instead, the package uses train and bus transportation for the Machu Picchu portion while adding an adventure experience to your itinerary.

For example, mountain biking and Rainbow Mountain involve a different level of physical activity than an ATV or horseback riding experience.

Your choice depends primarily on the type of experience you want. Choose ATV quad biking if you want a motorized outdoor activity. Horseback riding offers a different way to experience the Andean landscape, while mountain biking is better suited to travelers looking for a more physically active option.
