Rainbow Mountain ATV tour from Cusco ITINERARY:
The Rainbow Mountain ATV tour starts with a pickup from your hotel in Cusco at 4:30 A.M. We then take a 3.5-hour bus ride to the start of the trail, which is at 4,650 meters (15,255 feet) above sea level. Once we arrive, the ATVs will be ready and waiting for our group, we’ll begin with a brief practice session on driving the ATVs and learning basic safety tips.
After the practice, we’ll embark on the ATV tour, which lasts about 35 minutes. During this ride, you’ll see the stunning contrast between the snow-capped peaks and the vibrant red, violet, and green colors of the surrounding mountains, you’ll also have the chance to see wildlife, including llamas and alpacas, amidst the beautiful Vinicunca landscapes.
When we reach the top, a short 5-minute walk will bring us to Rainbow Mountain, from here, you can enjoy the spectacular colors red, green, yellow, and purple formed by millions of years of geological activity. After spending 30 minutes taking in the view, we’ll head back on the ATVs for another 30 minutes, followed by a buffet lunch. Finally, we’ll return to Cusco city.
