The Palcoyo tour begins with a pick up from your respective hotel at 4:30 am. Then we will be traveling through Cusco to the southern valley for approximately 3 hours. During the trip, we will stop off in a local town called Checacupe, here you will have an opportunity to try a local breakfast, after breakfast, we will continue on with about a 1-hour drive to the control point where passing tourists must pass through a check to confirm the journey to Palcoyo. Once the group is all together, we will continue onto Palcoyo for 40 minutes, when we arrive at Palcoyo, we will have a small snack while you admire the lookout view of Ausangate and the famous Palcoyo rainbow mountains, local red valley, and to finish off the hike, the tour guide will give you some free time to savor the view and of course take those important photos of the natural beauty in Palcoyo, then we will course the hike back down to base where we will be served lunch. After lunch, we will start our journey back to Cusco. During the trip, we will stop at the town Checacupe for a toilet stop and a chance to buy a local snack at an extra cost, then we will carry on to Cusco, arriving around 7 pm, and then we will transport you back to your respective hotels.
