Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cusco and Sacred Valley
Upon arriving at Cusco Airport, we will greet you. A private transfer will take you to your luxury hotel in the Sacred Valley. On the way, we’ll stop at Chinchero, where you can see alpacas and visit a weaving center. To help with the altitude, you’ll receive aromatic coca tea. After checking into your hotel, enjoy a light lunch. Spend the rest of the day relaxing.
Day 2: Full-Day Sacred Valley Tour
After breakfast, we will pick you up at 9:00 A.M. for a full-day tour of the Sacred Valley. First, you will visit the ancestral salt mines of Maras. Then explore the circular terraces of Moray to see traditional Inca techniques in action. Next, we’ll head to Ollantaytambo, one of the last living Inca cities. Stroll through its streets and visit Inca palaces. After the tour, enjoy lunch at a top restaurant in the Sacred Valley. Finally, return to your hotel for the night.
Day 3: Luxury Machu Picchu Tour
Begin your day with breakfast. Then board the Hiram Bingham Luxury Train from the Sacred Valley. On board, enjoy brunch while taking in the stunning scenery. Witness agricultural plains, the majestic Urubamba River, and the towering mountains near Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, enter the Machu Picchu citadel with pre-purchased tickets. Our tour guide will lead you through the ruins and share the history of this ancient site. After the guided tour, you can explore on your own or enjoy Afternoon Tea at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge. The Hiram Bingham departs at 6:00 P.M., returning you to Cusco by 9:25 P.M. We will transfer you to the luxurious El Palacio Del Inca for your overnight stay.
